Avelo Airlines Takes Off in Newport News With Two Nonstop Routes to Florida

NEWPORT NEWS, HAMPTON and WILLIAMSBURG, Va.; Oct. 19, 2022 — Avelo Airlines today begins service from Newport News-Williamsburg, Virginia with exclusive nonstop service to Orlando’s most convenient airport, Orlando International Airport (MCO). Arriving at MCO now means getting to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Orlando’s most popular hotels and resorts takes half the time, allowing more time to explore local attractions and Central Florida.  

Introductory fares between Newport News-Williamsburg Airport (PHF) and MCO and Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport (FLL) start at $49*. Avelo will also begin serving FLL from PHF tomorrow, October 20. The new routes will operate on Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.
