Enjoy a Sweet Treat

If all of the shopping has put you in the mood for something sweet, be sure to head over to one of the many bakeries located on and around Rodeo Drive. Some of the top spots for decadent treats are Nahid La Patisserie, Cipriani, and Beverly Hills Chocolates. If a full-sized dessert is too big for your taste buds, try a macaron or eclair from Laduree or Pierre Hermes Chocolate. You can also get your Italian pastry fix at Veniero’s Pastry shop where each item is handmade using only fresh ingredients so you can tell they can serve up some seriously tasty goods. For cupcakes lovers, be sure to pay a visit to Sprinkles Beverly Hills Cupcakes. While it’s not directly on Rodeo Drive, it is close enough to hop over after a day full of shopping. They are known for their premium cupcakes which come in an array of flavors including Black Velvet (vanilla cake with chocolate ganache) and Red Velvet cakes. They have multiple locations throughout California but keep in mind that as you continue your trip.

Pamper Yourself

While you are sure to find some of the most opulent shopping experiences on Rodeo Drive in. You can also get pampered at one of the many spas while you are there. Some of the Top Spa’s include The Spa On Rodeo, Thibiant Beverly Hills. These spas have extravagant facilities with Japanese saunas, steam rooms, and relaxation rooms. It is a great way to unwind in between those busy sessions at the boutiques. When it comes to your nails there are also plenty of nail salons that you can choose from when visiting. There are 2 very popular places called Nail Candy and La Canna Nail Spa. Both Nail salons offer services like manicures, pedicures, shellac (gel) nails, and acrylics. If you want to be able to shop till you drop without worrying about any chipping lacquer or broken nails then either of these two salon locations should be high on your list for services!

Visit the Beverly Hills Garden

Many people are surprised to learn that Beverly Hills, where Rodeo Drive is located, has a public garden. The BH Garden (or Botanical Gardens of Beverly Hills) is open daily, and admission is free. Located directly across from Public School 8 in Beverly Hills, it’s easily accessible by bus, bike, or car and makes for a relaxing and beautiful stroll amidst palms and cypress trees. Bring a book or enjoy some quality time with friends. The Garden’s unique location features include almost two miles of walking paths and rolling hills. It has over 500 types of plants native to California, Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand, including more than 80 types of palm trees lining its picturesque walkways. If you happen to appreciate great architecture, you will enjoy seeing a variety of authentic Mediterranean-style structures, as well as an attractive assortment of seasonal flowers and shrubs. This combination is a must for any visitor to Los Angeles who wants to experience one of America’s most prominent locations.

Tour the Greystone Mansion

Two miles north of Rodeo Drive lies one of Beverly Hills’ most historic mansions, Greystone Mansion. Dating back to 1929, it was designed by acclaimed architect Wallace Neff and is considered one of his finest works. The house has 26 rooms and a tower offering panoramic views of Los Angeles. This house is a must-see considering its intricate décor made from marble floors to bronze chandeliers. You will find yourself lost in your own little world as you travel through its maze of gardens, fountains, and beautiful landscaping. The mansion has even been featured in many films including Pretty Woman and Ocean’s Eleven. There are guided tours seven days a week. If you do happen to visit, make sure you get a pic in front of the Reflecting Pond as it is quite possibly one of LA’s best photo opportunities. Also, be sure to allow at least 1.5 hours for your tour and maybe even more time roaming around, admiring everything these grounds have to offer!
