NEW HAVEN, Conn.; March 7, 2025 — Avelo Airlines took flight today from Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN) to its second Texas destination — Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Avelo introduced nonstop service from HVN to Houston in June 2024.

Avelo celebrated the inaugural flight with a festive Customer sendoff at HVN’s Gate 3 hosted by airline and airport officials. Avelo will operate the exclusive nonstop route on Mondays and Fridays utilizing Boeing Next-Generation (NG) 737 aircraft.
