Avelo Airlines Announces a New Route to Nashville and Celebrates Three New Routes at its Newest Base in Lakeland

LAKELAND, Fla.; Nov. 7, 2024 — Avelo Airlines today announces a new route to Nashville, Tennessee and celebrates the start of three more new routes from its base of operations at Central Florida’s Lakeland International Airport (LAL), conveniently located between Tampa and Orlando.

Avelo’s newest route to Nashville International Airport (BNA) will begin on Thursday, March 6 with twice weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays. Celebratory one-way fares start at $49* and Travelers can book at AveloAir.com.

This week, Avelo launched three new nonstop routes from LAL: Atlanta (ATL), Hartford, Conn. (BDL), and Philadelphia / Wilmington, Del. (ILG). Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop service for these three routes, operating twice weekly utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.

Last month, Avelo launched four routes from Lakeland: Charlotte / Concord (USA), Boston / Manchester, N.H. (MHT), Rochester, N.Y. (ROC), and San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) bringing the total number of routes from LAL to eight, joining Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN).

Avelo established operations at LAL as part of its regional Central Florida base in October 2024. The airline initially positioned one Boeing Next-Generation 737 at LAL, with plans to grow in the future.
