Northeast Winter Weather Travel Advisory

February 22-24, 2026

Winter weather in the northeast is impacting flights in our network. We are offering a travel waiver (see terms below) for Customers with flights on Avelo for the listed dates only, to or from these airports:

• New Haven, CT (HVN) – Feb 22-24, 2026
• Wilmington, DE (ILG) – Feb 22-24, 2026

Waiver Terms

This waiver does not provide for a refund to your original form of payment, however it will allow Customers a one-time re-accommodation on a different Avelo flight at no additional fare for one or both legs of a reservation, within 7 days of the original departure date for that segment.

Please note that standard refund and cancellation rules generally apply if a Customer cancels a reservation before a flight is impacted. Our aim is to give every flight an opportunity to reach its destination, but safety is and always will be our number one priority.

For Customers whose reservations included flights on the above dates, and who changed or cancelled these reservations on or after Thursday, February 19th, 2026, we can offer to waive change/cancel fees.

For any flight that is significantly delayed (3+ hours) or cancelled by Avelo, we can provide re-accommodation on another Avelo flight at no additional fare, +/- 7 days of the original departure, or a refund to your original form of payment, if you choose not to travel.

TSA Delays

Due to potential TSA staffing constraints, there may be delays at TSA Security and possible consolidation of TSA PreCheck® lanes. Please arrive 3 hours before flight departure time to ensure you don't miss your flight.
