Contact tracing is a process used to identify people who may have been in contact with someone carrying a contagious disease. The goal is to help prevent the spread of the virus or disease by quickly reaching out to those at risk, so they can take precautions or get tested. This keeps our travelers and crewmembers safer.
Per the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), all travelers entering the United States, including travelers whose connecting flight is in the U.S. as well as U.S. citizens and residents, are required to provide their contact information for the duration of their stay. Travelers are required to provide the following: full name (as shown on your passport), address while in the U.S., primary contact phone number, secondary or emergency contact phone number, and email address. Avelo will keep this information in our systems only as long as needed to meet contact tracing requirements or as mandated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
