PORTLAND and SALEM, Ore., Jan. 12, 2024 — Avelo Airlines is celebrating its first 100 days of flying nonstop from the greater Portland/Salem region to Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and L.A.’s Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR).

Avelo became the first commercial airline to serve Salem Municipal Airport in nearly 15 years when it took flight on October 5, 2023. Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop flights from SLE to the Entertainment Capital of the World and Southern California. Salem sits in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley, home to nearly 100 cities, including Portland, Eugene, Corvallis and Beaverton.
