Avelo Price Lock

If you find a price you like but need more time to decide, you can use Avelo Price Lock to hold the fare for 3 days (72 hours). This way, you can guarantee the price won’t go up or sell out before you are ready to commit.

The Avelo Price Lock option is available for flights at least 28 days from departure. Simply start your booking on our mobile app or website and proceed to the payment step. At this final step of your booking, you can add Avelo Price Lock and pay for this option. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation number. To finish your booking, come back to our website within 72 hours, complete your payment, and you are ready for takeoff!

Avelo Price lock is only available when purchasing tickets through our mobile app or directly on our website. Avelo Price Lock is charged per traveler. It is not a flat price for the entire reservation or per flight.

No, if you choose to cancel your Avelo Price Lock hold, you will not receive a refund for buying Avelo Price Lock.

The Avelo Price Lock option is available for flights at least 28 days from departure. If your flight is eligible for Avelo Price Lock, you will see the option on the payment step before entering your payment information.

If you are logged into your Avelo account, you will see your reservation under ‘Upcoming trips’. You can also visit ‘Manage Trips’ directly with the confirmation number and the last name you used on the reservation.

Once you locate your reservation, click the ‘Purchase’ button, submit your payment, and you will be confirmed and ready for takeoff!

Before you can make any changes to your flight, you must complete payment for the reservation. Once your reservation is paid in full, you can make modifications per our existing contract of carriage.

If you prefer, you can cancel your Avelo Price Lock hold and create a new booking; however, please keep in mind that Avelo Price Lock is not transferable, may not be available on your new flight, and you will be subject to current pricing for the new reservation, which may be higher.

You can cancel your Avelo Price Lock hold at any time within the 3-day period by going to ‘Manage Trips’. Please note, Avelo Price Lock is not refundable. If you choose not to complete your payment, at the end of the 3-day period, your Avelo Price Lock hold will be automatically canceled.
